Past Travel Programs
Innovation in Action: Cuba; Option 1: June 20-July 5

In partnership with Rustic Pathways, this two-week program offered students an opportunity to explore Cuba’s rural regions and was tailored for innovative and critical-thinking minds. Students learned to create actionable solutions to real-world problems through the process of design-thinking, an innovative approach used by entrepreneurs and designers. Students worked alongside local farmers to learn about sustainability through conservation projects and meet with Cuban peers to experience local youth culture. They also explored the beautiful countryside on horseback and soak up the sun along the turquoise waters of Cuba’s Caribbean beaches.
